Howell’s Mill Christian Assembly is operated as a non-profit 501-3c private camp owned and supported by the Christian Church and Churches of Christ in the Tri-State Area. HMCA opened in 1948 and was bought by our churches in 1960. In 2020, we celebrate 60 years of summer camp and full time camp ministry to the area. HMCA strives to promote the spiritual, social, and educational welfare of each camper in a safe, friendly, Christian atmosphere.
Rules for participation and acceptance in HMCA programs are the same for everyone regardless of race, gender, color, or national origin. We strive to make a positive impact on the youth of our community by supporting and serving positive extracurricular activities. To meet these goals, we rent our facilities out to local schools, parachurch Christian organizations, and area youth sports leagues during the months of September to May as time and space is available. We are not a public accommodation, but have a rental procedure for our facilities only as limited space is available. Setup a time for a tour to know more.
