Voyageurs National Park: BWCA Canoe Trip. May 19-29, 2019. (pic)
Located in Northeastern Minnesota, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) has a ~million acres of wilderness, with over 1,000 pristine lakes and streams, and over 1500 miles of canoe routes. It is considered by some as the most beautiful wilderness they have ever seen. I’ve been 5 times to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area with family and friends and the board has approved me leading a trip for HMCA.
When I see our camp leaders here at camp or at their church, we are all too busy to get to know each other deeper, or encourage and pray with each other. I envision this being a discipleship trip where leaders can get to know each other on a deeper level while being refreshed away from stress and work in one the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Contact Tim Yankey if you are interested in this trip.
Deadline to sign up March 1st. Estimated cost $759/person (based on 6-8 people).
